Shaw Center for the Arts was excited to host the Live in the Sky event on Sunday, May 18, 2014.  Read more below to discover more about the event and it’s purpose.

Live in the Sky 225 is a unique art experience and networking event for art enthusiasts in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. The creators of the popup art showcase artHASAHOME have created a bigger event that will allow users to experience a variety of art forms. In addition to photography and canvas art, attendees can expect to experience the artistic process of some local artists. Sunday, May 18 will include live painting demonstrations, live music and live culinary creations in addition to a host of other creative collaborations.

Live in the Sky’s purpose is to strengthen the Baton Rouge art community and create a networking atmosphere for entrepreneurs. It also allows local artists to showcase their work and allow art enthusiasts to come together to appreciate and purchase original pieces from local artists. Proceeds from this event will benefit the next  artHASAHOME showcase.
